Different systems emphasize different values such as excellence vs. Grooming the students to be the best players is what the new education system aiming to be. Results showed that the visual-based instruction had a positive impact on improving the students' abilities of identifying the properties of relations. But academic achievement chiefly depends on development of mental abilities. It portrays an experience of successful inclusion, from an interdisciplinary work between the Psychopedagogy, Psychoanalysis and Pedagogy. Instead of conducting annual exams at the year-end, they are made to evaluate their students through various curricular and extra-curricular activities throughout the year.

The final result of the evaluation is evolved through different processes like Marks and Grades, Summative assessment,co-scholastic Evaluation etc. This article aimed to discuss the challenges of contemporary school face the problems of learning and inclusion, using a clinical case vignette of an adolescent with representative learning disabilities. But it has multiplied the task that the teachers and the school authorities have to go through. It is generally presumed that achievement in general science requires high level of mental abilities and in this context the present study focuses on the academic achievement of the primary school students in general science having differential levels of mental abilities. The study reported that the total primary school students as well as the girls having high, average and low levels of mental abilities differ significantly with respect to their mean academic achievement score in general science where as the primary school boys having high, average, and low levels of mental abilities do not differ significantly with respect to their mean academic achievement score in general science.
There came the multi-faceted evaluation of students in place. The cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills of learners, though recognised as vital aspects in learning, had somewhere evaded the exam oriented education system. Year-through evaluation of every student in multiple aspects, demands a teacher to work relentlessly like a machine. But without proper monitoring and supervision the total scheme has become an unsuccessful one. The objectives of the study were to compare the academic achievement of primary school students, boys and girls separately in general science having differential level of mental abilities.
Multitasking is the game of the 21st century. To achieve the purpose of this study, an achievement test was constructed and administered to the groups twice, once before the beginning of the teaching process pre-test and the other after finishing it post-test. The students were divided evenly into two groups, experimental group and control group. The study was conducted on the primary school students of the district Mandi, of Himachal Pradesh. The dynamic and interactive learning environment can be created in the classrooms through the interactive software like GeoGebra, Geometer Sketchpad and the activities based on concrete and virtual manipulative can contribute in enhancing the effectiveness of technology oriented pedagogies.
The present paper is a brief attempt made in this regard and is di- rected towards answering these questions and giving suggestions for the same. Mathematics is considered as least preferred subject so new pedagogies should be thought of for better comprehension and achievement of students. Innovative pedagogical strategies like animated content demonstration may support in increasing the engagement of students in mathematics. The post-test however was used to measure the impact of using the visual-based instruction. Immediate measures like proper inspection and accountability on the part of the people involved in the education system should be taken to get rid of this menace Evaluation is widely acknowledged as a powerful means of improving the quality of education. Evaluation is regarded as the main means to improve the quality of education.
Though the number of students has increased in the education system of West Bengal, the quality of education provided to this students is of a great concern. With the integration of new technologies in the classroom, the evolution of changes in classroom instruction has been a perpetual feature. The learner thus was also benefitted by having to focus on only a small part of the entire syllabus designed for an academic year. Grading systems matter more to the teaching and learning enterprise than many teachers may realize, as demonstrated in the author's experience of adopting a new one. The purpose of evaluation should not be only to grade the students as per their level of attainment rather it is expected to focus on the reasons of failure and as a whole a comprehensive idea about the performance of the child in multiple areas.
For effective teaching-learning process, a balanced knowledge of these three components is expected on the part of teacher i. The teaching —learning process seems to be directionless without a relatively stable and vibrant system of evaluation. The students in the control group were taught the properties using the traditional definition-based method. The case illustrates the failure of school as a product of a complex of factors, requiring a comprehensive, integrated look, from an interface between the clinical and educational works and family. Evaluation is an integral part of the teaching-learning process and has undergone substantial changes over the years.
